A one-day workshop on the implementation of the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions curriculum for the academic year 2026–2027 was organized by SDM College of Physiotherapy, SDM University, Dharwad, in collaboration with the Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Council on 3rd January 2026 at the Ishaavasyam Auditorium. The program commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting and invocation, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Sanjay Parmar, who emphasized the importance of preparing institutions and faculty for uniform curriculum adoption. Prof. Rajesh Shenoy highlighted academic coordination and administrative readiness. The presidential address by Dr. C. M. Shettar reinforced structured academic reform. Chief Guest Dr. Airani Mohammad Khan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Karnatak University, stressed standardized implementation to enhance allied healthcare education. The keynote by Prof. Dr. U. T. Ifthikar Ali Fareed, Chairman, KSAHC, outlined curriculum frameworks, regulatory expectations, and transition strategies. The workshop included active participation from principals and faculty, encouraging discussion and clarification. Presence of Mr. N. Shashikumar, Police Commissioner, Hubli–Dharwad, added distinction. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Shrinivas Murthy, followed by the National Anthem and group photograph. Overall, the workshop strengthened clarity, coordination, and preparedness for effective curriculum implementation, ensuring institutional alignment statewide.
